Flower is a sweet, little chihuahua girl who was dumped with a broken leg at the high kill, Orange, CA shelter. She has been rescued but funds are needed for her vet care and surgery that was needed for her broken leg. The rescue that saved Flower saves hundreds of dogs with similar stories from high kill, CA shelters. Foster homes, adopters, and funds are always needed.

We want to help!

NaturalArtist.com is happy to host Flower's Fundraiser. 25% of sales proceeds from all purchases made on the NaturalArtist.com site will be donated to Flower's care and to help other dogs like her be saved from high kill, CA shelters. AND for every $500 in total sales we will donate an additional $50.

(And yes, she is truly my baby, as I have created every inch of her with thousands of hours of work.) As I renewed my domain name once again, the start date caught my eye, Oct. 4, 2000. Wow!

There have been many changes over the past 10 years. NaturalArtist.com has seen 4 different versions and has recently been completely redone.

The site showcases fair trade goods like natural jewelry and more of my artwork, which is set up to be expanded upon soon.

Back to the Art of it

I am getting back into the studio more and more again these days. And thank goodness, because that's when I feel most like myself. Over the past few years the business end of my art and import business had really taken over all of my time and focus. I love that part as well and I feel fortunate to have all the experiences that it brings to me. But, I am an artist at heart and I am happy to bring that part of me back to my business.

With that, you will find many new additions happening on naturalartist.com. My artwork section has grown to include my original paintings, photography, digital art, art cards, and will soon offer ACEOs. It is all up and running and will be growing continually over the next few weeks.

I will still offer unique fair trade items from artisans of Latin America and I will possibly be adding a page of jewelry making materials, such as rain forest seeds and tagua. Let me know if that would be of interest to you.

New Page & Items

4 the Dogs has been added to the naturalartist.com website. The 4 the dogs page features hand made fleece dog blankets, snuggle bags, and soft toys for dogs, cats, and other critters.
This new line has been inspired by the arrival of a new little chihuahua that my mother has adopted. She loves to burrow under the covers and really loves the warmth of fleece. So, inspired by one sweet little Chi girl, I would like to give you the opportunity to share these cuddly new designs with the pups in your life too.
Natural Artist & Latin American Imports continues to be involved in raising awareness and funds for various animal rescue organizations. October is adopt a shelter animal month, though in my opinion that should be every month.
